Manufactured Progress LLC ("we," "us") is a Colorado limited liability company that produces the Manufactured Progress podcast and newsletter. Our website is manufacturedprogress.com.
This site is a static landing page. We do not use cookies, tracking pixels, analytics scripts, or advertising technology. We do not collect personal data through this website automatically.
If you contact us via email (steve@manufacturedprogress.com), we receive and retain whatever information you choose to include in your message — typically your name, email address, and the content of your correspondence. We use this solely to respond to you.
If we add an email signup form in the future, subscription will be voluntary and explicit. We will never sell, rent, or share your email address with third parties. You will be able to unsubscribe at any time.
This site is hosted on DigitalOcean infrastructure. DigitalOcean may collect standard server logs (IP address, browser type, access timestamps) as part of normal hosting operations. We do not access or analyze these logs for tracking purposes.
When we launch, podcast episodes will be distributed via Transistor.fm (hosting), Apple Podcasts, Spotify, and YouTube. Each platform has its own privacy policy governing how it handles listener data. We receive only aggregate, anonymized analytics from these services (download counts, geographic regions, device types).
If you've contacted us by email and want your correspondence deleted, email steve@manufacturedprogress.com and we'll remove it within 30 days.
This site and our content are not directed at anyone under 13. We do not knowingly collect personal information from children.
We may update this policy as we add features (newsletter signup, analytics, podcast distribution). Material changes will be noted with an updated date at the top of this page.
